10 of my favourite venues on Princess Cruises ship Enchanted Princess
Published on 02 Oct 2026
During my seven nights on board Enchanted Princess, I found myself returning to the same handful of spaces time and time again. Looking back at this list, I’ve realised most of them are either restaurants or bars, which probably says more about me than the ship. That said, these were the places that made my cruise so memorable and the spots I’d recommend seeking out if you’re heading off on an Enchanted Princess cruise.
We discovered Crooners on our first night, and I’m so glad we did. We sat and listened to a live singer who was so good that we revisited several times throughout our cruise. There’s plenty of seating, so there’s a real atmosphere, especially when everyone starts singing along. It quickly became one of our favourite spots on board. There’s a cosy little bar too, with a huge drinks menu. I was overwhelmed every time I tried to pick a cocktail, but I’d really recommend the Classic Cosmo.
Crown Grill is the most incredible steakhouse and, thanks to the Premier Package, it was included. Looking back, I wish we’d dined here more than once. Every little detail is thought of, and the food is absolutely delicious. One of my favourite touches was being able to choose from three different salts to accompany my steak. The wine is perfectly paired with each dish, and the service is some of the best we experienced onboard. Before our dinner reservation, we sat at the Crown Grill Bar with a drink and enjoyed live music from a very talented singer and pianist.
Princess Live! was my favourite onboard entertainment venue, thanks to its incredible range of shows. We watched game shows, comedy shows and karaoke, and even took part in a few quizzes ourselves. We seemed to gravitate towards Princess Live! every evening, as there was always something going on, either before or after dinner. It became one of those venues we’d regularly pop into to see what was happening, and there was always something to keep us entertained. I wasn’t quite brave enough to get up and do karaoke myself, but maybe next time!
I love Italian food, so I was always going to love Sabatini’s Trattoria. We visited twice during our seven-night cruise, and it quickly became one of my favourite restaurants onboard. The service here is fantastic, with the waiters taking the time to talk through the menu and recommend wines to pair with each dish. It has a lovely Mediterranean feel, and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom risotto one night and the carbonara on another, and I genuinely couldn’t choose a favourite as both were equally good. Although Sabatini’s is tucked away, you still get a sense of the atmosphere from The Piazza, with live music drifting through.
Princess Cruises doesn’t describe the Vista Lounge as a nightclub, but I’d say it’s probably the closest thing to one onboard. Open until late, it’s the place to go if you want to keep the evening going. There’s a live DJ (shout-out to DJ Raj!) who takes requests and does a great job of getting everyone up on their feet, creating a fun atmosphere throughout the night. There’s also a bar in the lounge, so you don’t have to venture far for a drink while you’re enjoying the music.
If you try anything on this list, make it a hot dog from Salty Dog Grill! The menu may be small, but it’s definitely mighty. My personal favourite was the “Salty” Dog, which comes with a choice of toppings, although the loaded fries deserve a mention too, as they were absolutely delicious. We actually had dinner here one evening when we weren’t feeling particularly hungry. One of the best things about Salty Dog Grill is that it’s so easy to grab food and go. We took our food to a nearby sun lounger and spent the evening watching a film on the Movies Under the Stars screen.
The Wake View Pool and Wake View Bar quickly became our favourite place to relax onboard. Tucked away at the aft of Deck 16, this adults-only area is surrounded by plenty of sun loungers and feels a world away from the busier parts of the ship. As temperatures reached almost 40℃ in some of the ports we visited, we spent most of our time in the pool between exploring ports. One of our favourite times to visit was during sailaway. As the Wake View Pool is an infinity pool, its glass edge offers a unique perspective as the ship leaves one port behind and sets course for the next.
The nearby Wake View Bar means you’re never far from a drink, and waiters regularly come around to take orders from guests relaxing on their loungers. As I mentioned in my review of Princess Premier, I also loved being able to order whatever I fancied from the drinks menu without having to think about whether it was included in my package.
I think the World Fresh Marketplace might be the biggest buffet I’ve experienced at sea. No matter what you fancy, you’ll probably find it here. We found ourselves gravitating here most mornings for breakfast. I’d love to say I took the opportunity to try something different every day, but I’m very much a creature of habit and thoroughly enjoyed Eggs Benedict on more mornings than I’d care to admit.
Tucked inside the World Fresh Marketplace is The Pastry Shop, which became my go-to spot for a speciality coffee. I especially enjoyed grabbing a latte to go with my breakfast before heading off to start the day.
